Hi! We are Chris and Lisa.
Our family loves to travel. We also love sharing our knowledge of Minnesota travel with others like you, so everyone can enjoy meandering about the state.
As lifelong residents of Minnesota, we enjoy taking in the sights around the state. We have traveled to or lived in many areas of the state at one point or another providing a wealth of information on lots of different parts of the state. We like exploring new places, even if it is in a region we have been many times.
We have four boys. You will see them pop up in our photos, along with friends and family too from time to time. When we travel, it is sometimes fun to have group day trips or meet up with family and friends during our travels.
We like showing off our great state. We enjoy playing tour guide to visitors as well as to Minnesotans exploring the state more in depth or discovering a new part of the state. Come be our “virtual” travel companion and you are sure to learn something new.

Our Background
Chris is a college geography teacher. Lisa has her background in community planning and development. We both have worked with lots of paper and computer maps and use geography skills on a regular basis.
Chris specializes in physical geography. Physical geography deals with plants and animals, how landforms were created and why things are where and how they are today. This gives us unique perspectives on travel that we love to share with others.
We have backgrounds in travel, geography, geology, natural history, natural resources, exploring the outdoors and of course enjoy discovering new places. Follow us as we share lots of specialized information on local culture, restaurants, events and many other sub-topics, extending across many areas throughout the state.
